meeting
|
Sunday 3rd April
|
-
02:00-07:00 Ramp-Squeeze-collision verification (2 on 2 pilots) +
chromaticity measurement after feed-forward. Second ramp with tune feedback
on failed due to cryo loss MS.L5 (temperature sensor)
-
08:00-15:30: Collimation setting-up at 450 GeV and 3.5 TeV
-
15:30-17:30 Ramp-down and start injection setting-up with 75 ns beam
-
17:30 - 05:50 Electrical problem (18 kV to 400 V transformer) in UJ76 and recovery
|
9:00
meeting
|
Saturday 2nd April
|
-
03:00 Beam dump validation at 450 GeV
- 03:35 Ramp to 3.5 TeV - B2 lost due to RF trip (Wattcher HI on Cavity 6B2) -
Switched it OFF and left OFF in the morning after analysis of RF piquet. B1
lost due to TDCQ energy interlock.
-
06:00 Ramp to 3.5 TeV - lost due to TCDQ energy interlock
-
07:00-09:00 No beam from SPS (Extraction septum and Main quadrupole power
supply)
-
11:00-15:00 Collimator alignment and loss maps ==> Analysis ongoing
-
15:00-16:00 Test of inject and dump mode OK
-
16:00-19:00 Aperture measurements in the injection area (point 2/8)
-
19:00-02:00 Abort gap cleaning setting-up + Injection gap cleaning. First
verification of the injection of 75 ns beam (24 bunches) after technical
stop
|
9:00 meeting
|
Friday 1st April
|
-
Recovery from technical stop
-
Cryogenics back at 11:00 in Sector 45
-
Accesses required for QPS, Power Converter, RF, no beam available
from SPS.
-
22:00 Injection
-
23:00
Beam presence flag verification (6-7x108 p)
-
Unexplained orbit fluctuations observed at injection and during the ramp.
Initially thought to be related to orbit feedback
