3 Phase A.3 450 GeV - Preliminary system commissioning  
4 Phase A.4 450 GeV - Detailed measurement program

Increase current, commission machine protection, transverse damper, measure aperture, optics.

Increased Intensity     Machine Protection

5 Phase A.6 450 GeV - two beams Pilots → higher intensity. Separation bumps, BLMs, crosstalk
6 Phase A.8 Snapback – single beam, Ring 2, ring 1
7 ditto Ramp  - single beams Single beam, ring 2; ring1. Stop in ramp. Commission beam dump, machine protection in ramp, ring 2.
8 Phase A.9 Single beam at physics energy Optics checks etc.
9 Phase A.10 Two beams to physics energy
Prepare 7 TeV physics
Collide pilots.  Unsqueezed.
10   Physics. Unsqueezed. Experiments on. Increase to 43 on 43
11 Phase A.11 Commission squeeze Single beam partially through squeeze, etc.
12   Physics with partially squeezed beams. No crossing angle  
13   Pilot physics run Intertwined physics and further commissioning of squeeze, raising bunch intensity, increasing the number of bunches
14 Phase A.5 Increase intensity
