Saturday 4th December |
- Issues with a cryo
valve in S12 over night. Cryo team found a work-around without access.
- First beam out of the
ion source around 08:00. Tuning source..
- 09:30 beam in the SPS.
- 10:00 beam back in the
LHC. Setting up 8 bunch injection.
- 14:00 Stable beams fill
1536, L = 2.2 10^25 Hz/cm2, 137 bunches.
- Beam dumped at 20:30,
0.4 ub-1.
- Access required for
RQ6.R5.
- Problem with access
system (EIS) delayed access.

- 08:30 decided to refill
ion source as it was showing clear signs of reaching the end of its life.
- No beam before saturday
morning.
- Pre-cycle test - need
access for RQSX3.R1.
- Siren broken in UX15,
problem with BIW.

- Two accesses overnight Tuesday to Wednesday (QPS, power converter)

- Access for QPS S23 around 16:00
