In LSA we keep strengths and current for magnets or magnet strings (K/I).

The magnets/magnet strings are mapped onto power converters for which we calculate currents (IREF).

In LSA parlance:

We map transfer functions (or calibration curves as we call them (B versus I)) to logical_hardware.
