Initial Machine Setup

Clearly we would like to work with the simplest possible machine. To this end we can envisage powering the minimum of powering circuits and using the simplest machine configuration.

Settings

Magnet Circuits and associated power converters

Clearly the main lattice circuits (bends, quads) must be powered at their nominal values. Among the correction circuits the orbit correctors, trim quads, sextupole spool pieces, and skew quadrupoles should suffice.
