Standard functionlity from Delphine's application looking good with new additional features such as event monitoring.

 

Injection Kickers
  • On Wednesday - pulse both 2 & 8 to nominal voltage, control from application
  • OASIS

  • Start with auto-generated pre-pulse by Etienne
  • Friday - expect pre-pulses from RF - need to check ring1/ring2 logic very carefully
  • GHH application OK, but not using LSA yet.
  • OASIS - problems to track down kicker pulses whe B1/B2 ing
  • Logging of waveforms, if there then rubbish, otherwise missing
 
Injection requests
  • First tests of functionality - to "CBCM"

First attempt at alternate rings via database defined injection sequence (driven from timing application for the moment) looks good Will not do this from sequencer in first year.

Looks goods but hit QX bug. Unable to drive NESTED and IREF together

Autocommit (i.e. payload and event) still a bugbear:

At the end of injection plateau, move out injection protection devices only: check that idle, drive actual settings for injection protection devices OUT, send timing event (dummy task for the time being), check until idle.

  • Actual settings control looked good from sequencer I have prepared the actual cycles for the ramp cycle "Collimator_testV1":

    ACT@0_[START] -> Nominal start of ramp
    ACT@1         -> Parking
    ACT@2         -> Coarse
    ACT@3         -> INJ-OUT

    The sequence was:

    ACT@_1 --> ACT@_2 --> ACT@_3 --> ACT@0_[START] --> RAMP
